The International Network of Health Promotion Foundations (INHPF) was established in 1999 to advance the work of health promotion foundations around the world. As organizations, INHPF members have unique characteristics tailored to the need of the country. Interest in establishing Health Promotion Foundations is growing as countries and regions recognize the benefits of having long-term sustainable funding for health promotion.

To strengthen the capacities of any country interested in promoting the health of their populations at national and sub-national levels through the work of health promotion organizations.
Goal |
- To enhance the performance of existing Health Promotion Foundations through the exchange of information and experience, mutual learning, and joint action.
- To support the establishment of new Health Promotion Foundations using innovative and sustainable financing mechanisms.
- To enhance and maintain the functions and outputs of the Network.
Chair of the network |
Chair: is responsible for representing the Network as the Network’s spokesperson to the media and all other organizations. The term of the position is two years with the option of re-election.
